Most residential lot clearing in this market falls between a quarter acre infill teardown and a 2–5 acre custom home site on the edge of San Antonio or out in the Hill Country. Inside that range the work pattern is consistent: walk the lot, mark keep-trees with ribbon, identify utilities and structures to protect, take the brush and trees down, mulch or haul per the customer's call, grind stumps to spec, and turn the finished lot over to whoever is building behind us.

Selective clearing is the norm — almost every residential customer has trees they want saved. Heritage live oaks, mature pecans, big shade trees near the planned building envelope. We flag and route equipment around them, and we tell you straight if a tree you want to keep won't survive the construction phase (root zone damage from heavy equipment kills more "kept" trees than the actual clearing does). Lot clearing is also where the handoff to pad prep matters most. Most customers have a builder waiting, and the lot needs to land at a specific elevation with the right base ready for the slab.
